BRIEF HISTORY
The UCSC Pre-Dental Society is a young organization founded in the fall of 2007. We are a dedicated group focusing on molding competitive pre-dental applicants. Our goal is to be the best possible resource for our members.
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Pre-dental society is to expose the undergraduate students of UCSC to the field of dentistry. It will make the members the most competitive dental school applicants. It not only gives them a preview to dentistry but also a chance to get hands on experience, a chance to improve DAT scores, a chance to be mentored by dental faculty and students, a chance to have admission contacts at a variety of dental schools and a chance to give back to the community through dentistry and gain an appreciation for the various professions in the field and in doing so prepare them for Professional school.
